Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.  We saw steam vents, sulpher (sp?) ash coming from the caldera and lots and lots of lava rock. But no flowing lava because someone (it was me) demanded we stop for food, which led to us getting to the lava viewing area after the gate was closed for the night. (Yes, my feelings of guilt are still very high.)
