Crime update

I came home tonight to find a note from the landlord saying that they had hired a nighttime patrol company to watch the place. Gee, I wonder what sort of activities could have prompted that move?

There was a story in The Maui News two weeks ago, maybe more, about a guy getting arrested at our complex after police got a call of a burglary (happy now Madams?!) in progress. The story said that the suspect had allegedly entered the apartment through an unlocked sliding glass door. Sound familiar?

And on a related topic, the controversial neighbor guy has moved out. Guess it's easy to get out of a lease after someone breaks into your apartment. Even if it was your own fault.
