Update

As of 10:30 a.m., we still did not have electricity at our house. We also could not get cell phone signals until we were about 5 miles away from home. The drive to the office this morning took almost 90 minutes. It normally takes about 20 minutes. Our street and parking lot are a gooey, muddy mess. Brad's car, which was parked on the street last night when it turned into a river, started this morning but water did get into the car because the floorboards/mats are soaked. And he says the inside of the cars smells funnier than usual.

T.Roy offered to put us up at his house. Lee offered us warm showers. We are able to get food (beyond the cold Pop Tarts and melting ice pops that we have at home) once we get to the central part of the island.

Brad keeps saying, "It's fun. Like we're in the frontier days." I don't want to be in the frontier days. I want to watch tv.
