One of my favorite words is named 2007 word of the year.
I didn't know it was a gamer term. I still don't even really know what a gamer term is. Burger taught me to woot. (Ah Burger, ahead of his time again.) And if you do a search on this blog, you'll see 5 entries (now 6) with the word woot in them.
