Do cockroaches fly?

They do if they are in my suitcase.

I've been home for a week now and the suitcases are still sitting in the dining area waiting to be unpacked. But my friend J is getting married in 13 days, which means that I'll be leaving the island again in 11. So here's my dilemma: Do I unpack and move the suitcases out of the dining area, just leave them there and repack them or live on the wild side — zip up the bag and take whatever is in there ... even if its only 3 mismatched socks and a tube of toothpaste?
