Do you ever have those days?

Wake up cranky.
Skip the gym because you're tired and just don't feel well.
Somebody is parked in your spot. (It is a different car, but you thought that had been nipped in the bud.)
Walk in the front door and the whole hallway is covered in a sticky gel.
It is a thousand degrees inside the apartment.
An entire case of Sprite is leaking in the cupboard and flowing into the entryway.
Can extreme heat make soda cans burst?
Remove the soaked and flimsy case from the cupboard without it falling apart. Yay! But at least 12 more ounces of soda end up on the floor as you spin around and dash toward the sink.
Attack the floor with Clorox wipes because that's all you have.
Are Clorox wipes approved for use on laminate flooring?
Is the flooring warping already?
You don't know because you've never been this close to floor before.

11:48 p.m. update:
• The jerk moved out of our spot before Brad came home, so no "move your car" note for him. My car is there now. (Yes, this really has become a common problem that we are actively trying to end. No one has been towed ... yet.)
• I turned on the air conditioning.
• It wasn't an entire case of Sprites that exploded, just 2 cans.
• Clorox.com says that Clorox wipes are safe to use on plastic laminate, synthetic laminate flooring and wood laminates ... as well as many other nonporous surfaces. That pretty much covers me.
• There is a bit of bubbling at the seams on a few floor panels, but we've had the same thing happen in our bedroom when the air conditioner leaked and I think it can be fixed, or at least minimized. Plus you can only see the bubbling from one particular spot and only if you are looking directly at it.
