It's not quite like going to Slippery Rock (or where ever Madams says that I went to college), but I have just signed up for a 6-week course that will end with me receiving (hopefully!) a Paralegal Certificate.
I'm pretty excited! Been thinking about doing it for a while, but the online courses were too expensive or I didn't have the right computer equipment.
But Chaminade is offering a live lecture here and its about 1/10th the cost of the online stuff. So I'm signed up. Wa-hoo!
The only bad news is that if they don't get enough people enrolled, the class will be canceled. Let's all just hope that doesn't happen.
And for those truly curious ... No, I don't plan to quit my job immediately. I'm just hoping I can use this down the road at some point.
